Is Giving Online Right for You?

Explore This Convenient and Secure Option for

Your Contributions

· Online Giving is Convenient — You pay your bills online because it is convenient and secure. Now you can submit your contributions just as easily and quickly.

· Online Giving is Consistent — You can set up recurring contributions that are processed automatically. Of course, you can change or stop automated giving at any time.

· Online Giving is Intentional (even Biblical) — While there is always a place for giving in response to a need, giving also needs to be planned as part of the Christian life, not leaving it to chance.

· Online Giving Builds Perspective — Giving at the same time you pay your bills sets your gift in relation to your total financial activity. When compared with spending on other areas of living, you can easily evaluate your stewardship of all your resources.

· Online Giving Provides Quick Information — At any time, you can view what you have given within a date range, including both online giving and all contributions made by other methods. You can even print a statement!

· Online Giving is Protected — All transactions are encrypted and transmitted at the highest level of security possible. Access to donor information is restricted, with a unique login and password for each donor.

STEWARDSHIP CORNERText Box: 13th Sunday in Ordinary Time
“...your abundance at the present time should supply their needs....”
							-2Corinthians 8:14
Economic crisis can teach us many valuable stewardship lessons. We are quickly realizing that as individuals and as a society we really did not need everything that we wanted. We are also learning to count our blessings and to see that we have been abundantly blessed by God. And, hopefully, we are becoming more willing to share our gifts with those who truly are in need.

Totus Tuus - Number of Volunteers - Adults 17, Young Adults 8
Number of participants - High School 49, Grade School 77
Latin for “Totally Yours”, Totus Tuus is a week-long summer, catechetical program dedicated to the evangelization of the youth. This is an archdiocesan program that brings a team of college students and seminarians to the parish for fellowship and catechesis. The mission of the program is to inspire in young people a true longing for holiness, a deep desire for conversion and a personal renewal within the context of a stronger prayer life. The grade school program meets Monday through Friday from 9:00 am-2:30 pm and the junior high/high school program meets from 7:00-9:00 pm Sunday through Thursday. Volunteers are needed to house and provide meals for the Totus Tuus teachers. This year’s program was just completed.

Did You Wrap Your Gift?
Would you give a gift to a friend and not wrap it? Would you take a present to a party and not put your name on it? Please treat your weekly gift to God with the care and respect you would any gift that you give. Wrap it in an envelope and put your name on it. It will make you feel so much better about the gift. Try it some Sunday and see if it doesn’t make you feel a little prouder of your gift.
