During the Thanksgiving and Easter holidays, Our Lady of Fatima Parish comes together to provide boxes of food to less fortunate families. Volunteers assemble empty boxes for parishioners to fill with non-perishable food items. Volunteers then process filled boxes and distribute them to families, parishes, and organizations. Cash donations defray the cost of perishable items added to each family’s box.
This is a ministry where individuals and entire families can participate. Be sure to watch for upcoming food basket signup events. It takes an army of volunteers to process all these boxes, and we would love to add your name to our list of helpers!

Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver is a community-based Christian homeownership program that builds and sells homes to hardworking families in need of decent housing. Our ministry is based on the conviction that to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ, we must reflect Christ’s love in our own lives by loving and caring for one another. Our Lady of Fatima Parish has helped sponsor and build homes since 2009.
To better serve Habit for Humanity of Metro Denver with financial and volunteer support, Our Lady of Fatima's Habitat Helpers outreach ministry has recently joined the Loaves and Fishes Faith Coalition. Still the same great work being done, and volunteer opportunities abound in support of families in our communities.
Construction expertise is not required, and we have many non-construction jobs. Volunteers must be 16 years or older to volunteer on the construction site. Please sign up to build at Habitat Volunteer Hub. Other ways to get involved include providing lunch or snacks on a build day, praying for the safety of volunteers and our partner family, and donating towards coalition builds.

Membership in the Queen of Peace Rosary Circle, of the Altar & Rosary Society, welcomes all to learn to make mission, cord and wire rosaries. The mission rosaries are distributed around the church and to students, new parish families, hospitals, missions, and disaster areas when needed. On average we make and distribute 850 rosaries every month. We also make rosaries to be sold at our parish religious goods sales and will repair rosaries upon request.
Meets Regularly September to May 3rd Friday each month, 10:00 AM Fireside Room

The Respect Life Ministry at Our Lady of Fatima promotes the dignity and worth of all human life from the moment of fertilization to natural death as a reflection of our Catholic faith and God’s loving creation of us in His image. We believe respect for life is fostered through prayer, fasting, education, almsgiving, and activist opportunities.
Abortion is certainly a key issue, but we also address euthanasia, contraception and abortion reversal methods, embryonic stem cell research, in vitro fertilization, and other issues that support the dignity of the human person. Our ministry seeks to share information with the parish and develop opportunities for involvement in community efforts, especially participating in 40 Days for Life at Planned Parenthood facilities and in the public square, as well as holding pro-life petition drives, and collecting baby clothing and supplies for pro-life organizations. In the parish, we try to provide educational materials and announcements to parishioners, organize speakers or pro-life/pro-family videos/movies, as well as prayer opportunities. All parishioners are welcome to participate in any of our ministry activities.
Meets Regularly 3rd Tuesday each month, 6:30 - 8:00 PM Fireside Room

Monthly on the 3rd Saturday, we conduct a "sing-along" at Morning Star on 38th & Kipling in Wheat Ridge. Join us as we lift spirits and bring smiles to the faces of elders in our community.
